MEET OUR TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS

These dynamic volunteers help to lighten the workload. Their role is very vital to us and the communities we support.

“I am very passionate about seeking the welfare of children in various communities in Sierra Leone. My role as a coordinator can be challenging but yet fulfilling .I have to travel to remote villages like Ropolon line which is hard to reach as it is 7 miles away from the main town. The beneficiaries are very poor, their main source of income is local farming, wood cutting, and petty trading activities. The schools lack the facilities needed by children to get proper education, children go to school without footwear, torn or worn-out uniforms and also use plastic carrier bags as school bags. with one or two exercise books for all subjects taught in class. I empathised with the community and remain committed to work tirelessly in executing my duties to support them.”

~ Senesie Dumbuyah – National Coordinator

Our volunteers are trained to identify children in need and families that are experiencing hardship. They are empathetic, caring and passionate in empowering children to learn and achieve their academic goals.

Physical activities are important for growth and development of young children. It helps to strengthen children’s bones and muscles, increase their self-confidence and belief and reduces the chances of illnesses. Our volunteers are involved in supporting school activities. They take pride in awarding children with certificates of achievement during their sports day event.

WE ARE SEEKING VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT OUR EVENTS. CAN WE COUNT ON YOU? PLEASE GET IN TOUCH. THANK YOU!
